Having been led by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, and on the profession of my faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, I do now, in the presence of God, angels and this assembly most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with the believers in this body, as one body in Christ. (Rom 10:9-10, Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 4:1-12)

I covenant to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through regular times of worship, prayer, and the study of God’s Word. (2 Peter 3:18, I Thess 5:16-22, Psalm 119:11)

I covenant to disciple my family, if I am so blessed, to love the Lord our God with all their heart, soul, and strength, to impress His commands upon them, to give my children an education founded upon a biblical worldview, and to seek the salvation of my family and friends. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)

I covenant to partner with the believers in this body, to watch over them in brotherly love, to remember them in prayer, to aid them in sickness and distress, to cultivate understanding and courtesy in speech, to hold them accountable and allow them to hold me accountable for the principles clearly taught in God’s Word, to be slow to take offense and always ready for reconciliation, following biblical principles to secure it. (Acts 2, Matthew 18)

I covenant to build up this body in knowledge and holiness, to promote biblical worship, doctrine and discipline, to submit to its biblical authority and ordinances, and to financially give cheerfully and regularly, according to Biblical principles, for the support of this ministry, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all the nations.

I covenant to walk uprightly in the world, to be just in my dealings, faithful to my commitments, exemplary in the way I live and zealous in my efforts to advance the kingdom of God and the cause of Christ.

I covenant that if God ever leads me from this place, I will unite with another church where I can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
